WOW! This looks amazing! I'm a big fan of LOM and DDR and there are just so few games which are similar to these masterpieces. Your graphics look wonderful, like a lost DOS-version of LoM. I have to buy this immediately! :D

Thank you. We have tried to capture the feel of the original. The game is fully playable, but still a WIP as we keep finding new things to add.

It's already very playable for being a WIP! Could you update the version here? I opened a thread on Steam because I noticed that the version on itch.io is still from back in mid 2020.

There were some minor changes on Steam, mostly relating to the Steam itself.  We held back from updating itch as the update was fairly small, but I'm make sure the itch version in on the latest build later this week.

I'm really glad that you find it playable, we've worked hard to emulate the works of Mike Singleton and have received a lot of positive feedback so far.

Please feel free to let us know if there's anything you'd like to see, or if you have any problems.

Wonderful, thank you!

Is there a possibility for you to recreate something in the vein of the legendary lost (never made) third part of LoM in your own world? Or a campaign in a thematically different environment? There are so many possibilities for unique settings with this engine you've created. I'm very happy I've found your work.

Possibly. We're working on action games at the moment, but always revisit our older projects.  By lost, are you talking about Eye of the Moon? There are some copyright issues regarding this. We could change the environment, but wanted to keep to the snowy feel of the original, but of course, if the idea is good enough....

I already was to make a variant that's more LOM, so easy recruiting, no enemy lords, just armies, pure nostalgia :)

You're welcome to email us at jimjamsgames@gmail.com with your ideas and we'll take a look.

Installing from the itch.io client is broken.

Hi, thanks for the report.  Solstice hasn't been tested with the itch.io client, and is set up to be downloaded and run. We'll take a look though and see why it doesn't work. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the retro experience that is Solstice. :)
